To pickle sour pickles, you can follow this simple recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 kg cucumbers
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- Dill (optional)

Instructions:
1. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into desired shapes.
2. In a bowl, mix the salt with the cucumbers and let it sit for about 1 hour to draw out excess moisture.
3. Rinse the cucumbers well to remove the salt.
4. In a pot, combine the vinegar, water, garlic, sugar, peppercorns, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.
5. Add the cucumbers to the pot and simmer for about 5 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
7. Transfer the pickles and the liquid to a sterilized jar.
8. Add dill if desired.
9. Seal the jar and store it in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before consuming.
